Personal Data That You Provide Through the Site: We collect Personal Data from you when you voluntarily provide such information — for example, when you contact us with inquiries or register for an account on the Site to access our Services. This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Full name

However, please note that our hosting provider may automatically collect limited technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and device information) for purposes such as security monitoring and fraud prevention.

Additionally, if you make payments through third-party services such as PayPal, those providers may collect and process your payment information in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not store or have access to your full payment details.

Access to your camera and microphone is requested only when you join virtual classes through our platform. This access is used solely to enable real-time communication during the class

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide 1-on-1 English classes and manage scheduling
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions
  • To offer customer support and communicate service updates
  • To maintain and improve our platform, and resolve technical issues
  • To notify you about relevant offers or updates (you may opt out at any time)

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties, except as necessary to provide our services (e.g., payment processing) or as required by law.

To the extent necessary for those purposes, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the Personal Information is accurate, complete, current, and reliable for its intended use.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, protecting your Personal Data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Our security practices are regularly updated in accordance with technological advancements.

However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information you transmit to us and disclaim liability for any unauthorized disclosure beyond our reasonable control.

For example, never share your password, and take appropriate steps to secure your username, password, and personal information when using the Services. Additionally, you are responsible for ensuring the security of any personal device you use to access the Services.

5. Payment & Refund Policy

Refund Eligibility:

Students may request a refund if they wish to withdraw from their subscription. Refunds will be processed on a pro-rata basis, subject to the following conditions:

  • Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the subscription purchase.
  • Refunds are applicable only for 3-month and 12-month subscriptions.
  • Pro-Rata Calculation: The refund amount will be calculated based on the remaining duration of the subscription. For example, if a student attended [X] classes out of [Y] total classes, the refund will be for the remaining classes, minus any applicable charges.
  • Applicable taxes and processing fees will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Discount Adjustments: If a discount was applied at the time of purchase, the refund amount will be adjusted proportionally to reflect the discount. For example, if a 10% discount was given, the refund will account for this reduction accordingly.

Operational Charges:

An operational charge will be deducted from the refund amount to cover administrative overhead and payment gateway fees incurred during the transaction process. This charge helps us recover costs related to processing, platform maintenance, and transaction handling.

The operational charge will be calculated as 10% of the pro-rata refund amount or $199 USD, whichever is higher.

Payment Issues:

  • If a payment is deducted but your subscription is not activated, please allow a few hours for processing. You will receive a confirmation email once your subscription is active.
  • Please avoid making duplicate payments. If you attempt to repurchase a subscription and multiple payments are deducted, email us at [email protected] within 30 days with your payment details, including the deducted amount, transaction ID (if available), your email address, and full name, so we can process your request. If the transactions were successful, we will refund the duplicate payment within 7 business days, after deducting applicable taxes and processing fees.

Failed Transactions:

  • If funds are deducted and your subscription is not activated after 24 hours, contact us at [email protected] with:
    • Transaction ID
    • Payment proof (screenshot or bank statement)
  • We will resolve the issue within 7 business days.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required by your local laws). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without verifiable parental consent.

If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child without proper consent, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected], and we will work to remove such information from our systems.

7. Data Retention

These countries may have data protection laws that are different from those in your jurisdiction and may not provide the same level of protection. Regardless, we implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure that your data is handled securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection regulations, such as the GDPR where applicable.
